Gasthaus zur Sonne in Hilzingen

Today we let the restaurant "Zur Sonne" cook for us. The initial skepticism about how a menu would look and taste after it was transported in warming boxes was gone as soon as the container was opened. We had 5 different main courses, which were labeled and were a feast for the eyes even in the box. Kudos at this point for the great food! The portions were more than generous and the food was just FANTASTIC! There was nothing to complain about at any of the dishes. On the contrary: I have never eaten such a perfect, tender beef fillet. And the other dishes also tasted just heavenly. The service was also absolutely customer-oriented. Called, placed the order including the desired pick-up time and we were able to pick it up on time. The price-performance ratio is more than consistent! We have 10 stars out of 5 :) We are absolutely thrilled and will be happy to order again. The restaurant is a real insider tip for TOP QUALITY food!

We were there for a birthday party, seven people. The food was excellent and the dessert (warm Schoggiküchlein) a heavenly dream. The service with humor, attentive and how it should be although the restaurant was filled to the last seat on this Sunday evening. We'll be back!
